Happy 3rd Birthday Joshua!

My sweet three year old boy – Your entrance into this world three years ago was fast and furious and you have been a ball of spunk ever since! You keep us laughing, on our toes, and praying for patience every single day! You can be so affectionate and such a stinker all in a matter of minutes but we love you just the same. Sometimes I feel so much love for you I think my heart might explode! You have what I would call a strong will, but I know that as long as we continue to pray for wisdom in raising you that someday your strong will is what will help you accomplish God’s purpose for your life. I thank God that he gave me you as my son, you are such a precious gift to me! XOXO

Happy 4th Birthday Andrew!

Tomorrow we will celebrate four wonderful years with our Andrew Spencer. Our funny, sweet, compassionate, smart, happy little boy. The one that made us parents for the very first time. He has grown and changed so much and we are very proud of our little man. I pray for the wisdom to raise him everyday and that above all we can teach him to love and follow Jesus for all of his days. Thank you Lord for our firstborn son, he is such a precious gift!

She has a name!

Our little girl has had a name for awhile now, but of course I wanted to come up with a  fun way to share it so I have just been referring to her as “baby girl” every time I talk about her. This morning we went to the beach and it was wonderful, the boys played, we relaxed….and I thought “Hey, I’ll write the baby’s name in the sand, that’s creative enough…right?”

Little Miss Bitty – 31 weeks

Single digits! Single digits! We have 9 weeks left until baby girl’s due date…but I hope she decides to come in about 8

So, I have known for a good while now that I was having a baby (obviously) but it’s really been in these last few weeks when I am washing newborn clothes, thinking about a hospital bag, etc, that I have been getting really excited about meeting our new addition. Some very sweet friends are having a shower for me this coming Friday and I can’t wait to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our little girl!

Her nursery is coming along but there are still lots of finishing touches left to complete. I finished re-covering our infant carseat, bringing it back to life after lots of use from three kids! I look forward to sharing more about both in future posts.

A Little l-o-v-e

I love Valentine’s day….red, pink, hearts, chocolate, candy, all of it! I had big plans for the boys’ school valentines (thanks to Pinterest!) that required us to have a photo shoot a few days in advance. Getting two boys to try and pose and hold still for a photo and smile all at the same time was nearly impossible, here are some of the outtakes.

Little Miss Bitty & our weekend

As of Sunday I am 28 weeks pregnant with our baby girl. I feel like 12 weeks is still a loooong way to go, but we have a lot to get done in that time, so I am sure it will go faster than I think! On my last post I mentioned that I was getting ready to take my glucose test and I never heard anything so I take that as good news. I am starting to feel large and in charge and at the end of the day my hands and feet feel tight and fat! My face is filling out so I am trying to be careful about what I put in my mouth Having said all that I am telling myself to enjoy these last few months because I always miss it once the baby is born and I see other expectant moms!

Sunday morning before church as Spencer was taking my picture the boys wanted to be in the picture and then they wanted to play photographer. They snap pictures with my phone all the time, but they still have some work to do when trying to photograph people, they usually just take 87 pictures of their legs or the carpet
