Our Weekend
Thank you everyone for your sweet comments on my furniture re-do! I love the way that blogging allows people to share ideas and inspiration as well as allowing us to encourage one another!
This past weekend was full of more around-the-house projects for us! Saturday morning Spencer got to work on our kitchen backsplash, I am so very excited to see it completed! Here’s a teaser for you….
He had a little shadow all morning that was super helpful!
Since Daddy was trying to work inside I took the boys outside to let them play and I decided to do a little landscaping demolition. I worked for about 3 hours on one corner in the front of the house and literally had 4 trash cans and 1 bag of yard trash. I only encountered one snake and half a dozen lizards! Our yard had been so neglected it’s crazy. When we first bought the house you could drive down the street and almost not notice there was even a house here because it was so overgrown! I kid not! Then Spencer’s cousins husband (haha!) come over with his commercial yard tools and did some MAJOR demo in the yard. I am sure the yard trash guys will be happy with us this week!
Here is what the front of the house looks like now, all exposed! In need of a good pressure washing, some paint, new landscaping and maybe shutters!
Of course this post would not be complete if I didn’t share some pictures of all the boys!
Joshua found a new way to carry around all his loot!
Look who is 6 weeks old! I had to snap a picture of him at 6 weeks old in the outfit he wore home from the hospital. I am secretly glad he is still wearing newborn diapers and clothes. But we are down to a few diapers and when they run out I am moving him up to size one and today at church I noticed that his little wrists were hanging out of his sleeves, so it might be time to bust out the 0-3 month clothes!
If Zachary is awake his eyes usually look like this….I figure he knows he better keep and eye one his crazy big brothers!
Working out his neck muscles!
“Hey, how you doin’?”
Happy Sunday night to all!

Lots of work, but everything is looking great.
Cute pictures of the boys.
