Getting Real

I have a problem. I like to appear to always have it together and I allow people to think I always do. I think the correct word for this problem is pride. Yuck.

Adding a new baby to the family, moving and the holidays all wrapped up into a matter of three weeks has forced me to let go. I have accepted help from people when they offer and even allowed people to come over to my messy house! At the end of the day the mess is still there, but my kids are fed and taken care of and I know that eventually everything else will get done.

I had to take pictures the other day to show you the chaos that is our house, I want to remember this someday if we ever talk about moving again!

I have found that I thrive on organization and have been anything but for the past 4 months. I think being organized allows me to function as a mother. So, although I do need to let go some of the time it is important that I get our life in order, and soon! Hopefully I will be back soon with more picture of the house and less of the mess!
